My sister Andrea wrote this poem for my Grandma's funeral, she made the tears flow!
"Quiet and Calm" by Andrea
Swinging back and forth on that swing
There was something about the steady
motion that made me feel accepted next to you
We'd sit and watch the chaos around us
Silence, broken only by the occasional song
I never knew "She'll Be Coming Around the
Mountain" had so many verses
But you sang them all to me
Your feet guiding the motion of the swing
Hands, unselfishly folded in their lap
Voice, much like its owner
Quiet and Calm
